As part of a small but all the more exclusive gathering, we explored the theme of ‘Wines from Germany’. Once again, visitors were surprised by the high quality of German wines.
Not only did ‘King Riesling’ impress with two different expressions, but the following wines (amongst a few others) also stood out in particular:

Emmerich Silvaner No. 3 GG 2017 (Franconia)
von Winning Sauvignon Blanc 500 Reserve 2017 (Palatinate) --> my personal favourite!
It was lovely to have you all there. I think we all thoroughly enjoyed the balmy evening in the garden. One participant also received a bottle of Pinot Blanc as a prize for winning the not-quite-so-serious wine quiz. Congratulations!
